Student Declaration
I understand and agree with the following conditions:
• I declare I have not provided any false or misleading information in the application and supporting documents.
• I authorise SITE to obtain additional supporting information and/or verify my academic and professional qualifications, as well as my work experience, as necessary for my application.
• I understand that SITE reserves the right to vary or revoke any admission or enrolment decision if it has been made based on incorrect, fraudulent, incomplete information, or due to circumstances beyond the institute’s control such as changes in government policy.
• I understand that SITE reserves the right to modify units, courses, the teaching materials (including assessments), the mode of delivery and admission requirements at its discretion at any time.
• I declare that I have sufficient financial resources to pay for the travel, tuition, and living expenses for myself for the duration of my stay in Australia and will make timely payments of any required fees. I understand that if I am unable to pay my tuition or non-tuition fees or fund my stay in Australia, SITE may cancel my CoE and enrolment, which could impact my visa status.
• I understand that the fees provided are only estimates, based on the units I enroll in, and will vary depending on the specific units and my actual enrolment load.
• I agree to pay all the fees for which I am liable. I understand that tuition fees do not cover the cost of textbooks, enrolment fee, student services and amenities fee, or living expenses such as accommodation, transport, food and medical costs. Details on the tuition and non-tuition fees can be found on the here.
• I acknowledge that tuition and other non-tuition fees are subject to change each year. SITE reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Should SITE decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year. The promotion tuition fee is subject to change or discontinue due to various factors, including legislative updates, market trends or internal strategic decisions. In the event of promotion discontinuation, the standard tuition fee will apply.
• I understand that any tuition fees received in the form of a discounted initial tuition fee or an amount less than the required tuition fee mentioned in the offer letter to issue CoE, will not be eligible for refund if I do not commence the study, unless for the reason that the student visa is refused.
• I understand the Application fee, submitted with the application for SITE course, is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the application assessment. The Enrolment fee and Material fee paid upon acceptance of offer are non-refundable, regardless of the enrolment status.
• I am willing to provide further information or documentation to SITE for my application if required.
• I declare that I have read the Admissions Policy, Enrolment Policy and Student Fees Approval Payment and Refund Policy, and I understand the conditions of enrolment specified in these policies.
• I understand that SITE imposes restrictions on transferring between courses and institutions, and that I may not be permitted to change my course or institution without prior approval.
• I understand this agreement does not remove my right to take further action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.
• I acknowledge and authorise that SITE will retain my information in student and administration records.
• I authorise SITE to disclose information related to my application and enrolment to the Institute’s nominated OSHC provider and/or other third parties to facilitate the arrangement of my OSHC. Additionally, I authorise SITE to access the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) Visa Entitlement Verification OnlineSystem (VEVO) to check my visa status.
•I understand and consent to SITE utilising my information where necessary based on SITE Records,Information and Data Management Policy and Procedure.
•I acknowledge SITE's right to apply the relevant Institution policies and regulations to accept or refuse my application.
