SUPPORT FOR FUTURE STUDENTS

SITE provides a range of student support services to assist with academic, personal, financial, or technology-related issues. Access to these services can be found on our Student Support and Safety webpage. For more detailed information on the support services available at SITE, please refer to the Student Handbook or consult with a staff member on the SITE campus.

SITE is committed to providing a supportive and fair environment for all students. If you encounter any issues or have concerns, we offer a clear and accessible process for resolving complaints and grievances.

Before lodging a complaint, you may wish to speak to the person(s) involved, and if the issue is not resolved, you may confidentially consult with a nominated support staff member at SITE. During this consultation, you can:

  1. Discuss the details of the matter and the grounds on which you are pursuing the claim.
  2. Understand the various stages of the tiered resolution process and determine which stage may be most appropriate for your specific claim.
  3. Decide if it is more appropriate for the matter to be investigated.
  4. Preliminary actions will commence as soon as practicable following the event that gave rise to the complaint, and actions must be taken within 10 business days of the occurrence of the event.
  5.

Once we receive your complaint, we will follow the process outlined in the Student Complaints, Grievances and Appeals Policy and Procedure. You will receive the acknowledge of this lodgment in writing.

For more detailed information on the complaints and grievances resolution process, please refer to the Student Complaints, Grievances and Appeals Policy and Procedure or consult with a staff member on the SITE campus.
