Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) involves acknowledging and valuing your previous academic studies and/or work experience, counting them as credit towards your degree. Applicants are encouraged to read the Academic Credit and Recognition of Prior Learning Policy and Academic Credit and RPL Application Form.

Accepting Offer of Admission and Obtaining Confirmation of Enrolment (COE)

Congratulations on taking the first step towards joining SITE! If your application is successful, you will receive an offer of admission in writing via email (or another means as indicated by you on your application form), including information about any particular conditions of enrolment.

Before accepting your offer of admission, students must be aware of their rights and responsibilities. These details can be found in Section 4 of the Student Handbook. It is crucial to understand these aspects to ensure a smooth and successful academic journey at SITE.

Follow these steps to accept your offer and obtain your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE):

  1. Review Your Offer Letter, carefully read through your offer letter to understand the terms and conditions of your admission.
  2. Accept the Offer, sign and return the signed offer before the deadline as specified in the offer, along with the required documents that requested in the offer letter. This can be done via email to admissions@siti.nsw.edu.au.
  3. Pay the fees, make the necessary tuition and associated fees payment as outlined in your offer letter. Ensure you keep a copy of the payment receipt for your records.
  1. Once your acceptance form and required payments/documents have been received, the admissions team will process your acceptance.
  2. You will receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) via email.

If you are an international student, your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is a crucial part of your visa application documentation. For detailed information and guidance, please consult your migration agent or the Department of Home Affairs.

Noting that international students must purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for themselves and any accompanying family members before arriving in Australia. This health insurance can be obtained through a private provider or one of the Australian government’s approved providers. Ensure you have arranged this coverage prior to your arrival to comply with visa requirements.
